Linking in the terms of the internet is the process of one website pointing a small amount of text to another webpage on the internet, either within the website or external to the website. This is another of the areas the search engines are targeting to increase relevancy within the rankings.
- Natural Linking: this comes in many forms, one webmaster approaching another webmaster in the same vertical offering a link exchange (reciprocal linking) to people naturally finding a webpage and linking because they feel the page found what they wanted.
