Google have now launched a new interface which allows IPhone, Android and palm pre devices to use Google Adwords direct from their mobile. Adwords for mobile now allows users quick access to the statistics of their PPC accounts to be able to make quick changes on the move.
The ideal way to use AdWords for Mobile is to setup custom alerts on your adwords account such as when a certain budget is reached or if a cpa target is not met so that the alerts will automatically flash up on you mobile device. You could also setup to alert if a certain amount of traffic isn’t being reached by a certain point during the day meaning that you may need to make bid changes on the account to meet daily targets. You will be able to do this all from your mobile.  The mobile app also has a link that lets you switch to the desktop interface of your AdWords account in case you need to do major edits to other parts of your AdWords account.
In summary, AdWords for mobile promises to be a more helpful way of providing you with the capability to better manage your AdWords account whilst on the move or away from the office. There will also be no missed opportunities because you didn’t have time to access your account on the move t be able to make that change which could of brought in high amounts of conversions as you were out of the office. The only drawback is the availability of the application is limited to the devices supported by the mobile app.

I think this is going to be really handy for PPC marketers especially with the alerts tool, although I’m going to be sure to turn off my mobile after work now!
