Google has recently added instructional videos for how to set up shipping information and sales tax calculations for Google checkout. Google will be adding more videos to cover all frequently asked questions by the buyer and the merchant, along with informational videos about how to deal with refunds to the customer.
During this announcement Google representatives said that the look forward to supplying merchants with a video library to encourage their feedback. In order to make this new feature successful Google will have to rely heavily on it’s users to leave feedback so they can continue to add to this resource.
With You Tube becoming more and more popular by the day its makes perfect sense for Google to use You Tube to help Merchants and their customers increase their knowledge on Google Checkout. Not only will this help existing Merchants but also encourage new Merchant to sign up to using the payment platform.
No doubt this extra publicity will also help the consumer to understand how Google checkout works and in return increase sales for website owners that currently use Google Checkout on their e-commerce sites.
