The idea is to watch TV while searching for companies and services, this leans towards Google trying to invade Home Entertainment systems alongside one of its partners Sony who have great market dominance within this sector.
The idea is not as original as you might think with leading electronic companies such as Apple attempting to make this blend work. Will this work who knows, I imagine it banks on whether the system is quick and easy to use. At the moment Laptop users have the ability to do what GTV (Google TV) propose, it’s whether the system provides a more effective use for multitasking.
However there is much debate on whether the whole system is being set up to deploy extra revenue through PPC and other mediums of advertising across GTV. This may actually work well as instead of switching channels once bored with a programme the Paid advertising may act as a great medium to interact with the customer. Again this depends on whether the advertising becomes dominant over the search engine. Almost every American owns a TV to date so to interrogate this with the internet means Google tapping into even more potential users, with help on the way from high profile partners Google is sure to make an impact. It is thought that GTV will use the same advertisement technique as it currently does on Google now, which allows us as a PPC & SEO Company to plan how we would manage campaigns effectively. We are also curious to see what tools Google allows us to use, as with any type of PPC you need something to accumulate your potential return on investment. Possibly and introduction of a type of Google Ad Words Tool could be implemented, it will be interesting to track how effective the estimated Click through rate will be once GTV goes live. But there is sure to be some sort of tool as it will help Google create more of an incentive, the interesting thing will be how they will track it.

With this controversial wish in question, Google have refused to offer the “old” view back.
Nate Tyler, an official spokesperson from Google, has responded to this buzz by saying:-
“We’re not offering a way to revert back to the old design.”
There are many functions with the new Google template that may be of added benefit to users; for example, it is clearly laid out, basic simple features and more search tools which are easily accessible on the left hand side of the search function.
Users of the internet today are lazy as ever and will do anything for a quick fix return with the least amount of work possible; hence the need for search engine optimisation as users cannot be bothered scrawling through pages of results, when really they are only after top page listings on Google: This is similar to the new layout of Google; everything that the user needs is at the top of the screen with everything in full sight, perfect for the lazy internet user.
It may take time for the new look to please everyone, but as it has been confirmed that there is no way Google will revert back to its old look, search engine users better get used to it!

When you do make a mistake typing in a hurry searching for your chosen search request Google will now automatically correct the spelling and take you direct to the results you are looking for.
For example if you are searching for (cloths) but you really meant (clothes) instead of asking you “did you mean clothes” in the search it will just take you straight to the results you are looking for.

Google have also said that for any user using their service that when they are searching for there related search term the spelling correction wouldn’t be over enthusiastic with its results.
They have also said for the service that they are providing there very confident in the service working for every user even if you are searching for (cloths, clothes) or (cheap fights, cheap flights) because they wouldn’t place it on the market if they weren’t already highly confident with the service making searches a lot faster for the user giving them the information they need.

The only slight down fall with this new search service is if you are a website and you have implemented spelling mistakes into your SEO (search engine optimisation) campaign. Because the incorrect spelling of a word could get higher search results than the correct way you might find because it is correcting the spelling mistakes your traffic results could potentially be reduced.

Unfortunately, this knowledge can also be used for malicious attacks. According to research carried out by the internet protection firm Zscaler, computer hackers are abusing search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to promote spiteful links on Google.

Zscaler looked into the top search phrases from Google Trends, and found there were up to 86 malicious links showing in the top 100 search results for some terms. In rival search engines, the malicious links were generally limited to 10 or fewer; such as Bing and Yahoo.

Zscaler attributes this to the pace at which Google adds new links to its database, which is faster than other search engines. Zscaler also suggests that attackers adapt their pages to target Google, which results in additional pages being posted. Zscaler urges Google to “step up to the new security threats.”
This could have detrimental effects to the industry of search engine optimisation specialists as they will now be doing everything in their best interest to avoid these malicious attacks, without jeopardising their client’s top page rankings: It begs the question should Google be constantly changing their algorithms in order to stay one step ahead of the spammers and viral linkers out there?

According to Robin Collyer of software firm Aprimo, many firms deploy blogs for the purpose of increasing their credibility within their specific sector.

However, what some marketers tend to overlook is the fact that blogs can be a boon for SEO through the strategic use of keywords and hyperlinks, he explained in a column for Marketing Week.

“Search engines look for content, and blogs provide relevant and recent content,” Mr Collyer remarked.

“Combining this with a strong keyword strategy makes blogging another great way to drive traffic to your brand and products.”

He added that blogs can also be useful in this respect because they are able to support more keywords than a traditional corporate website.

A recent survey by Econsultancy and ExactTarget indicated that the main goal for those engaged in social media marketing – which includes blogging – is driving traffic to their websites.

This new found information will perhaps lighten up the finest Seo strategies for search engine optimisation companies to use in order to improve their clients rankings to the best possible position.
