I never support paid links because SEO is a strategy to drive traffic at lower cost, and paid links will increase your budget of campaign. So I never prefer paid links.

Google is going to down all paid links from the web. This is not true that there is no way to recognize a link is paid or not. Google can easily recognize the nature of links.

I do agree with you. There is no way to find for a search engine to find whether a link is paid or free. But, before going with paid links Basic SEO should be revised.

Primary goal of every SEO is to drive traffic for the site, so it doesn’t matter where it comes from, whether from a paid link or from a natural link.
