Search Engine Optimization is an ongoing and long term method of building targeted traffic. Some traffic can be expected reasonably quickly but it may take several weeks before you really begin to enjoy the benefits of your hard work. By targeting well searched keywords you can expect to generate hundreds or even thousands of unique visitors per day and continuing your SEO efforts by building more links and adding more pages with more keywords to target will inevitably mean even greater results over a period of time.

When considering SEO as a form of online marketing you should expect a slight delay between beginning your SEO efforts and the first visitors resulting from those efforts. However, following this delay, the level of targeted traffic you receive is likely to continue growing until you have an extensive level of search engine traffic arriving on your website every single day. It may require hard work but the rewards are more than worth it to many.
