Can SEO be Guaranteed?
Filed under: SEO Consult by Nick on November 24th, 2008 @ 3:38 pm
Following on from my previous blog regarding money back offers from SEO companies, I want to talk about if SEO can be Guaranteed.
I have had numerous feedback over the years regarding people who guarantee SEO results, can anyone really deliver guaranteed results when it comes to SEO? The answer is yes they can, I have been quoted before from people who quote Google’s webmaster guidelines saying that results cannot be Guaranteed, which is correct to a degree, however what Google actually do not want people to do is to give guaranteed positions relating to SEO, why I here you ask does Google not want people to give Guaranteed SEO results?
The answer is this;
Google controls this search world, they dominate market share and they own the algorithm that is under tighter control than the world leaders, Google do not want companies given the world the impression there are certain individuals and companies that give the impression they have the power to manipulate the Google search results.
The other side of the coin is people who simply provide there own commercial guarantees when it comes to SEO Guarantees, as long as such guarantees are realistic then there can be no issue, or any conflict with Google webmaster guidelines.
Having said that, when you are not in control of something, how can you Guarantee it, and how much trust is lost when you Guarantee something and do not achieve, is it likely when it comes to Guaranteed SEO if you do not achieve the results a client will continue? I think not.
Opposed to Guaranteed SEO results I would look at companies who have a proven track SEO record, as I heard on Dragons Den last night, someone mentioned, if something looks to good to be true, it usually is. When it comes to guaranteed SEO results, I would say this saying has some truth, if SEO was that easy everyone could Guarantee and deliver these Guarantees out, surly they would not be doing Guaranteed Results SEO, they would be turning business away because they would be that good at SEO they would deliver for every client.
So, would you look for Guaranteed SEO companies, I know I wouldn’t, here at SEO Consult we have given some Guarantees before, and why I here you ask, because sometimes you are in the scenario of people saying, another company will, we like what you have to say better but we need Guarantees, we of course can provide a little of a Guaranteed SEO program when it comes to being realistic about what we will achieve over what period, what we will not do at SEO Consult is give Guaranteed Results just to get a deal, we would rather loose a deal and a company learn from there own mistakes than be subject to the criticism of not getting the required results.
If you’re looking for Guaranteed SEO, contact SEO Consult today.
SEO Consult will be happy to discuss your Guaranteed SEO requirements.
