As part of any good SEO campaign, a website should include well written, generally appealing SEO content. This SEO content should also be written in such a way that it will promote good conversion rates because it is appealing, well written, and generally offers visitors what they want. Fortunately, SEO content can be both search engine friendly and visitor friendly in equally large measures making the provision of high quality, well written content vital to the overall performance of your online business as well as your SEO efforts.

Keyword Optimised SEO Content

SEO content should be keyword optimised. Once referred to as keyword rich, the term itself has changed in line with the demands and requirements of search engines. While keyword rich SEO content demanded the heavy inclusion of keywords through the content in great number, keyword optimised content results in a much more precise and easy to read page. The days of seeing keyword crammed content with 10% density and more are fortunately long gone and SEO copywriting now allows for greater freedom in the crafting of high quality, genuinely informative text.

LSI And Semantic Keywords

LSI, or Latent Semantic Indexing, is a form of document indexing that has been adopted by many of the search engines. It concentrates on lists of topically related keywords and not only indexes a page for each of the keywords in a list but rewards those sites that use a similarly good list of semantic keywords. Using a handful of closely related keywords within SEO content can mean much better results within Google and other major search engines.

Page Content Structure

Content structure is still important, as is the prominence and placement of keywords. While formatting keywords is less likely to generate the great results it once did, this can still help your visitors in determine the content of a page and quickly find the information they are looking for. Similarly, titles, headings, and sub headings offer these same benefits to the visitor. Search engines may also give extra weight to keywords that are found in headers and sub headers throughout the content.

Organically Written Content

Good website content should be naturally written with the end user in mind. Page visitors are, after all, the main point of a website and well written content will help to convert these visitors into paying customers. This, in turn, means improved profits and greater ROI for your advertising budget. Happily, organically written content is also a requirement of most search engines so by writing good quality content with a handful of keywords you can attract more visitors and generate good conversions from those visitors.

SEO Content As One Aspect Of Search Engine Optimisation

There are many aspects to an effective SEO campaign, and a major part of on page optimisation is the inclusion of good quality, keyword optimised content. Search engines prefer organically written content because it is more appealing to human visitors and this, too, has its advantages for you as a website owner. Naturally written content will invariably generate better results than keyword crammed content that appears all over the Internet.
