Basically the two techniques used for the search engine optimization are White hat SEO and the Black hat SEO. Where the White hat SEO concentrates on using ethical techniques to improve a particular website in the hope of being able to rank higher in search engine page results, the black hat SEO is simply uses SEO techniques to trick search engines immorally.

Always try to avoid the black hat techniques for your website optimization in various Search engines because sometime it’s beneficial but most of the time this is harmful for website and can get down the search engine ranking and even ban the site.

Black hat techniques can sometimes have dramatic initial results – that’s part of their appeal. Unfortunately, in the long run, they usually have significant negative effects. Website’s employing black hat techniques can find themselves buried in the lower reaches of the search engine rankings, or simply banned from the major search engine’s altogether.
