Tools for Internet Marketing and SEO Part III
After reading the earlier editions to this blog, I decided to write on behalf of my colleague Rob to inform our devoted readers of even more tools that can help them in their quest for SEO perfection. And, it goes without mentioning that these tools are totally free of charge.
Copyscape - Google despises duplicate content. Copyscape.com is the online resource that detects any text that is replicated anywhere else throughout the World Wide Web. It not only tells you the page of the copied information, but also tells you the exact words which are being recognised so you can just change a few words at a time. A brilliant tool that takes less than 2 minutes to check your page with.
W3c Validator - W3c is the standard mark up language for web programming in HTML and XHTML. All website coding should be written in conjunction with this standard, and if it isn’t then Google and the other main search engines struggle to crawl as thoroughly as possible. The validator simply requires you to input your website URL and it will return back identifying any errors that your coding has. Ideally you want to go through and correct all these on every page on your site.
IBP Ranking software - IBP or I Business Promoter is a piece of software that provides a complete optimisation service. However its standout feature is its ranking capabilities. Put your keywords in and run the software, it returns with a comprehensive report in a clear and readable format, which can be then exported to Microsoft Word or PDF. This software is available as a free demo that thankfully does not expire.
Hope these tools help you, no doubt we will have more for you in the coming weeks.
